Our Story
D&B Financing was founded by Dayna Bishop and Ben Bishop on a clear, uncompromising belief: lending should never be complicated for the people relying on it.
Too often, clients experience mortgage broking as transactional, a rate compared, a form submitted, a deal closed. Dayna and Ben set out to build something different: a firm grounded in personal connection and honest advice, where every client is genuinely understood, not processed.
We take the time to understand what our clients are actually trying to achieve, then structure a lending strategy built around that outcome, not a generic template applied regardless of it. This is where our belief comes from: confidence in lending is never an accident. It's the result of precision, structure, and the discipline to treat complexity as opportunity, not obstacle.
From the first conversation through to settlement and beyond, we take the extra step most brokers skip, because the goal was never just to close the loan. It was to make sure every client walks away with the outcome that's genuinely right for them.

With over 20 years of experience in the finance industry, I bring a depth of knowledge and insight to every client interaction. I've built my reputation on delivering exceptional service grounded in integrity and trust, ensuring every client feels supported and educated throughout the entirety of the loan process and well beyond settlement.
I work with clients across every stage of their lending journey, from first home buyers through to business owners, investors, and those navigating complex acquisitions, SMSF property, or multi-entity portfolios. Whatever the situation, the same standard applies: clear communication and honest advice, not a generic process applied regardless of circumstance.
I co-founded D&B Financing on a belief that clients deserve more than a transactional experience, a service built on personal connection, not just a closed deal.
Outside of work, you'll usually find me travelling, at pilates, or enjoying the beach!

My background is in sales and client relationships; understanding people, building trust, and delivering results. Those same skills now shape how I approach lending.
I work with clients across every stage of their lending journey, from first home buyers through to business owners, investors, and self-employed individuals navigating more complex acquisitions, SMSF property, or multi-entity portfolios. Whatever the situation, the same standard applies: precision and structure, not a generic process applied regardless of circumstance.
I co-founded D&B Financing on the Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast with my business partner, Dayna Bishop, to build a brokerage grounded in exactly that, precision and structure, not transactions.
Outside of work, you'll usually find me surfing or snowboarding, learning Japanese, and chasing remote corners of the globe!
